Introduction
Bahrain informative writing Bahrain is a tiny island located in the Arabian Gulf. In Arabic, the word "Bahrain" refers to the two sources of water available within the country, sweet water, which is available in springs, and salty water, which is available in the Arabian Persian surrounding the island. The capital of Bahrain is Manama, which is located in the north-east. Manama is known for gold crafting and its variety of jewelry shops, especially for gold and purls. Bahrain is a Muslim country with a vast majority of Muslims, however, there are few Christians and other minorities, and these are usually foreigners. The population of Bahrain is roughly 780,000 people; these are mainly concentrated in the north of the island. The south of the island is mainly deserted and is known as "Sakhir". This feature attracts numerous people from all over the world, especially from nearby countries where alcohol drinking is illegal. Bahrain also attracts tourists because of its amazing landmarks, like the Bahrain International F1 Circuit, where in the fourteenth of March of every year, the top F1 drivers like Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel, Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa compete to win. Also, Bahrain is a tax free country and this feature attracts numerous people, especially from taxed regions like the UK, America.....etc. . Bahrain's economy heavily depends on petroleum production and processing as it make up 60% of the export receipts and 60% of the government's profit, yet only 30% of the GDP, so people of more towards the service sector The service sector gains most of its money from tourism, examples of the service sector include hotels, museum-tours ...etc.
